From specification to your district in five steps

Send a specification, get a delivered price within 24 hours, approve a physical sample, then production, customs clearance and delivery. The whole cycle runs three to six weeks from approved sample. The quote you receive already includes customs duty, 13% VAT and last-mile delivery.

Step 1 · Same day

Send a specification

You describe the product, the quantity, the branding and the delivery district. A photograph and a rough quantity is enough to start; a written spec gets a tighter price.

Step 2 · Within 24 hours

Receive a delivered price

We come back within 24 hours with a price that already includes goods, freight, customs duty, 13% VAT, clearance and delivery to your district. If a line needs a tariff check or a specialist supplier, we say so in that first reply.

Step 3 · About 1 week

Approve a physical sample

We produce a sample with your branding and send it to you. You handle it, check the colour against your reference, and either approve it or tell us what to change. Sample cost is credited against the production order.

Step 4 · 2–4 weeks

Production and consolidation

Your order is manufactured to the approved sample and consolidated with other goods heading the same way, so you pay one freight cost and one customs entry rather than several.

Step 5 · 3–7 days

Clearance and delivery

We prepare the import documentation and clear the consignment ourselves. With matching paperwork, Raxaul–Birgunj runs 4–8 hours on the Indian side and 1–2 days on the Nepali side. Then last-mile delivery to your district.

What actually happens at the border

Nepal applies customs duty of 0% to 80% plus 13% VAT on the CIF value of imported goods. India-origin goods receive a preferential rebate off the MFN rate under the Indo-Nepal Treaty of Trade, but they are not duty-free. We handle the declaration, the duty assessment and the clearance, and the cost is already inside your quoted price.

The mismatch that costs a week is always small. A description on the invoice that does not match the packing list. A gross weight that does not match the transport document. An HS code chosen for its duty rate rather than for the goods. We check all three before the truck leaves.

Duty rates change with each Finance Act. Confirm the rate for your tariff line at nnsw.gov.np. HS codes we quote are indicative at heading level; final classification depends on construction and outer-surface material.

Questions about the process

How long does the whole process take?

Three to six weeks from approved sample to delivery. Quote within 24 hours, sample in about a week, production two to four weeks, clearance and delivery three to seven days.

What happens if the sample is wrong?

We revise it and send another. This is exactly what the sample stage is for, and it is far cheaper than discovering a colour problem across 1,000 finished pieces.

What documents does an import into Nepal need?

A commercial invoice, packing list, Certificate of Origin, transport document, import declaration and bank documentation. The critical requirement is that they agree with each other — description, weights and HS code. A mismatch turns a two-day crossing into a seven-day one.

Can we visit or inspect before shipping?

Yes. We can arrange inspection, and for larger orders we recommend it. For most buyers the approved physical sample plus photographs of the production run is enough.

Tell us what you need and how many.

A delivered price within 24 hours. Sample before production. No commitment at any stage.
